The honest part

What to know first

  • The town has little commercial development.
  • The town's department list has no parks department.
  • DCTA names Denton, Highland Village and Lewisville as its member cities, not Copper Canyon.

Not its strength: walkable, transit options, vibrant, big-city energy, shopping, parks and trails, lake days.

Not rated yet: a real downtown, restaurants, nightlife, golf, new construction. That means I haven't confirmed it either way, not that it isn't here.
