The honest part
What to know first
- Commercial development sits in the northeast part of town.
- The town has no parks department.
- DCTA's service area covers Denton, Lewisville and Highland Village, not Double Oak.
Not its strength: walkable, transit options, vibrant, big-city energy, a real downtown, restaurants, nightlife, shopping, parks and trails, horses welcome.
Not rated yet: lake days, golf, new construction. That means I haven't confirmed it either way, not that it isn't here.
