Kennedale sits on low rolling hills at I-20 and Highway 287, about ten miles southeast of downtown Fort Worth. Daily life centers on TownCenter, where City Hall, the library, shops and a park sit together, with Sonora Park just south.

What to know first
- The combined 2025 rate of about 2.29 per $100 runs higher than Arlington's 2.19 with Arlington ISD.
- The city covers just 6.6 square miles, so choices inside city limits are limited.
Not its strength: walkable, vibrant, big-city energy, a real downtown, restaurants, shopping, lake days, land and acreage, new construction, established neighborhoods.
Not rated yet: transit options, nightlife, golf, horses welcome, luxury homes. That means I haven't confirmed it either way, not that it isn't here.
