The short version
Krum sits in west central Denton County, seven miles northwest of Denton and just north of U.S. 380. The railroad laid out the town site in 1886, and grain made it a major inland market. The 1927 grain elevator still stands, and the Krum Heritage Museum fills a former bank building downtown.

Not its strength: walkable, transit options, vibrant, big-city energy, a real downtown, restaurants, nightlife, parks and trails, land and acreage, horses welcome, luxury homes.
Not rated yet: shopping, lake days, golf. That means I haven't confirmed it either way, not that it isn't here.
