What it does well

Strong here

  • Established neighborhoods●●○
The town was created in 1958.

The honest part

What to know first

  • A Tamarron Drive address scores 8 on Walk Score, where almost all errands require a car.
  • Town offices close on Fridays.
  • The combined rate runs about 2.16 per $100 in Azle ISD before any water district charge.
  • Sewer is unavailable at a 6.48-acre commercial tract on Jacksboro Highway, so check utilities on any land purchase.

Not its strength: walkable, vibrant, big-city energy, parks and trails, land and acreage, new construction.

Not rated yet: transit options, a real downtown, restaurants, nightlife, shopping, golf, horses welcome, luxury homes. That means I haven't confirmed it either way, not that it isn't here.
