What it does well
Strong here
- Transit options●●●
TEXRail stops at Iron Horse, on the line from downtown Fort Worth to DFW Airport Terminal B. - Parks and trails●●○
The city added or renovated parks and trails from 2011 through 2025, including mountain bike trails and a pump track at Fossil Creek Park.
The honest part
What to know first
- The Birdville ISD combined rate is about $0.10 per $100 higher than the Keller ISD side of the city, so the school boundary changes the tax bill.
Not its strength: walkable, quiet, small-town pace, vibrant, big-city energy, a real downtown, restaurants, shopping, lake days, golf, new construction.
Not rated yet: nightlife, land and acreage, horses welcome, established neighborhoods, luxury homes. That means I haven't confirmed it either way, not that it isn't here.
