Westlake covers about 7 square miles along Highway 114 in Tarrant and Denton counties, with homes on wooded lots, gated neighborhoods and large corporate campuses. Entrada, a Catalonia-themed village, is still filling in, while older subdivisions keep a rural feel.

- Public school assignment splits among Keller, Carroll and Northwest ISDs by address.
Not its strength: walkable, vibrant, big-city energy, a real downtown, restaurants, nightlife, shopping, lake days, established neighborhoods.
Not rated yet: transit options, horses welcome. That means I haven't confirmed it either way, not that it isn't here.

Part of town is in Denton County, where the 2025 Northwest ISD combination is 1.455038. Carroll ISD covers the east side at 1.57788 in Tarrant County. Entrada sits in Public Improvement District No. 1, which can add an assessment.
